The Department of Theatre & Dance will be hosting Cuer2, one of Peru’s leading theater collectives. Since 1999 Cuer2 has received numerous awards and presented at dozens of international theater festivals. As part of their visit to the campus they will be performing two of their plays on Thursday, January 26.
Interruptor – Freedlander Theatre, 7:00pm Open seating, no reservations necessary. Interruptor is a look at two boys coming of age in the digital era. It explores what it means to be human in our mass media culture and how we form relations in a world where connections seem to be made only through technology. This is a hilarious comedy and will be performed in English.

Hebras – Schoolroy Theatre, 9:00pm Only 100 seats available (to get reservations email jnoriega@wooster.edu) Hebras is a wordless physical-theatre piece with movement, music, dance, puppets, and mask work. It is about human relationships and issues of identity, independence, and dependency.
